FEE WAIVER

Customers can save up to $699!

Settlement fees are waived on all four new Retro products*. This can deliver up to $699 in savings for your customers on applications lodged between 1 June and 15 July, with formal approval by 30 September required to qualify. Plus, we’ve also removed the interest-only (IO) rate premium on investment products, so both P&I and IO are now priced the same! 

*Fee waiver promotion only applies to Retro Versa, Retro Specialist, Retro Lite Specialist, and Retro Lite Specialist Plus.

RETRO VERSA TO RETRO

Switch them after 12 months

Customers eligible for a Retro Versa loan can automatically convert to a sharper Retro product after 12 months, provided the required criteria are met.
 
Once eligible, we’ll notify you that the loan has qualified and been converted to the sharper Retro rate.
 

Retro Versa to Retro Criteria

  • The loan was settled 12 months prior.
  • No defaults were listed in the original assessment. 
  • No repayments later than ten days.

What you need to know

From 1 June, Link and Retro will come together under one trusted Retro brand, creating a broader and more unified lending suite for brokers. The Link product suite will cease to exist for new customers, whilst the Retro product suite will expand with four new products.

By moving the Link product suite into Retro, we’re creating a true one-stop shop that helps brokers place more deals, access flexible lending solutions, and support a broader range of borrower scenarios.

Existing Link customers will not be affected.

There will not be any changes to internet banking for existing customers.

No, existing Link customers will not be affected, they will remain as Link customers.

For new business from the 1 June, Link will be rebranded to Retro as follows:
  • Link Premium will become Retro Versa
  • Link Complete will become Retro Specialist
  • Link Complete Plus will be discontinued
  • Link Lite will become Retro Lite Specialist
  • Link Lite Plus will become Retro Lite Specialist Plus

Link Complete Plus will no longer be avaliable from the 1 June. All other product policy will remain the same.

There will be no pricing changes to these products

No, your current AFG Home Loans Retro accreditation is valid.

You will be able to review updated product information on Lenders. Contact your BRM for any questions.

Other than selecting the correct Retro product, no the application process won’t change.

From the 1 June, the Link calculator will no longer be valid.

A new servicing calculator will be avaliable from the 1 June available in Lenders. This calculator will overide any previous calculators.

Any Link applications submitted before the 1 June remain a Link application and follow the standard assessment process as a Link branded product.

Between the 1 June and the 23 June (inclusive), any Link applications already in Apply Online can still be submitted. The product will automatically convert to the corresponding Retro product and follow standard assesment process.
Any Link applications already in Apply Online from 24 June onwards will need the product changed to the corresponding Retro product in Apply Online.

Yes. Standard commission and Clawback rules will apply to any active Link applications and active Link loans.

No as Retro and Link commission structures are already aligned.
